The solid background is included in the PNG, behind transparent areas. Enable "Light pixels -> transparent" to reveal it through a photo.

Drag rectangles on the preview to select areas. Other effects apply to the whole image. Transparency removes bright pixels, not a detected background.

Export includes effects and your optional solid background. Without a solid background, transparent areas stay transparent. Preview backdrop and selection outlines are not exported. Download a JSON recipe to reuse these settings. Processing and downloads happen in your browser.
